Frequently Asked Questions
What is FieldResponder?
FieldResponder is a stress management and resilience tracking app designed specifically for field responders including wildland firefighters, search and rescue personnel, ski patrollers, and other first responders. It helps you monitor capacity levels, track incidents, follow 3-3-3 protocols, and build personalized resilience plans.
How do I create an account?
You can sign up for an individual account directly through the app or website. If your organization uses FieldResponder, your administrator will provide you with a registration link to join your team.
Is my data private and secure?
Yes, your privacy is our top priority. We use industry-standard encryption for data transfer and storage. You may keep your data anonymized or opt to include your name with capacity, incident and protocol entries. Team administrators can only see your anonymized, aggregate data for the organization unless you explicitly choose to include your name. Review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy for complete details.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes! Field Mode allows you to log green choices, capacity entries, incidents, and appraisals while offline. Your data will automatically sync when you regain network connectivity.
What is the 3-3-3 Protocol?
The 3-3-3 Protocol is an evidence-based check-in system that prompts you at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months after a critical incident. These touchpoints help ensure you have the support you need during recovery.
